Whether your create account  is created on aconf.org or websites and applications established by aconf.org, your profile will stored in the database of Aconf.

For users who create a conference on Aconf

If you make a website or application through Aconf, user account information is stored and managed by Aconf after the user is registered via the website or application you created. Make sure to you have known it and make your users know it well.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) should be protected in accordance with the laws and regulations of both the organizer’s location and the conference venue.

You should not abuse our system to collect users’ personal data beyond the minimal necessary personal information.

For authors/participants

Aconf will not disclose any users' personal information to any  party. But excluding the following conditions:

1. When you register or submit an abstract/paper to a conference/event organizer, the necessary information will be collected and viewed by the organizer.

2. When you sign up in a conference website established through Aconf, the organizer will have the right to view your profile including email id, name affiliation, prefix, departement etc.

Aconf dedicates to protecting user's privacy, but users still need to understand the risks associated with network security and provide minimal personal information while you participant any conference hosted on Aconf.

Cookie

Aconf will not use cookie or similar technology excluding your login status and anonymous visit statistics in Aconf. 

PII Data Disposal

Sensitive fields containing PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and PII data are encrypted using different technologies and difference levels. If you wish to remove your account from Aconf, please send an email to hi@aconf.org using the email ID that you registered with in Aconf. If you would like to back up your records in Aconf, please specify this in your email.

Note: Once your account is removed, your PII data will be empty, and you will no longer be able to log in to Aconf with that account. Your records in Aconf will be displayed as created by an anonymous user.

PCI Compliance

The Aconf platform does not store any credit card information; instead, we rely on third-party payment acquiring. which comply with PCI Compliance. These third parties are fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), ensuring that our security policies and procedures meet the required standards.
